Below are some of the guidelines that apply to all aerial shoots:
Pilots are allowed to fly 400 feet surrounding a structure
Visual contact must be maintained by the pilot.
The pilot must operate in a way that does not interfere with other aircraft.
The pilot must fly no more than 100 mph.
The drone cannot be flown over national parks, military bases, stadiums or sporting events.
The drone cannot be flown within 5 miles of airports without prior authorization.
The person operating the drone must have a valid Pilot's license.
The pilot must file a Notice to Airman with the FAA no earlier than 24 hours and not more than 48 hours before each flight, including information such as location, duration, altitude and flight path of the flight.
The done cannot fly within 25 feet of people.
